Salary Minimum

$117,000.00 to $168,000.00

Signing Bonus

Qualifications must-Haves

Master’s degree in health or business administration preferred.

In lieu of a master’s degree, a bachelor’s degree with 10 years of progressive practice management experience to include: financial, human resource and operational management, and a sound understanding of ambulatory care.

Minimum of 7 years of progressive physician practice management or related health care management.

Ability to write a business plan, perform a SWOT analysis, and understand the financial statements and develop proforma’s.

Certifications valued: CPPS, CMPE

Strong understanding and experience working in a matrix organization and leading by influence.

 

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer of Medical Center, the Executive Director is responsible for the overall administration and operations of Community Physician Group (CPG), in conjunction with CMC leadership, including strategy development, planning, execution, and performance of our CPG practices and associated service lines. The primary focus is building high-performing service lines that include growth, high-quality care, exceptional patient experience, frictionless access, strong production and financial performance, and solid network integrity. Significant focus will be placed on service line strategy, planning, development, provider and staff engagement and integration, communication, and optimization and transformation of key performance indicators Embrace individuality, Act with kindness, and Make a difference. Main Responsibilities:

Responsible for the direction, planning, execution, and oversight of CPG practices with a focus on growth and development and optimization of the various service lines within CPG and CMC. The ultimate goal of the Executive Director is growth, development, optimization, and transformation of the various services lines and practices to desired performance as measured by key performance metrics and compared to internal and national benchmarks. Effectively translating strategy into operating plans that achieve our desired objectives is critical.

 

Along with your dyad partners/leaders, other administrative leaders, and practice managers, the Executive Director is responsible for engaging and integrating physicians, APPs, direct reports and clinic support staff and maintaining high-performing and engaged teams. Facilitating and supporting the desired culture of CPG in alignment with CMC’s core values is essential.

 

Responsible for physician and APP hiring, engagement, compensation, quality, patient experience, access and production expectations and reconciliation. Also responsible for communicating the various service line strategies, performance benchmarks, initiatives and plans, and the increased utilization of services with CMC and its aligned partners. Handles all separations, both voluntary and involuntary of physicians, APPs, and direct reports.

 

Focus on planning and executing to optimize and transform clinical and business operational efficiency, effectiveness, cost containment, and high-quality patient care.

 

Develops business plans and pro-formas to grow and implement current and new services.

 

Takes ownership in the planning, development, and participation of the operating and capital budgets, financial forecasting, and is responsible for the overall financial performance of CPG, its associated service lines, and individual practices.

 

Provides mentorship, training, education, and support with the objective of the professional growth and development of all direct reports. Supports all efforts to standardize job title/role competencies, training, and development.
