Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Oncology / Advanced Practice Provider (APP)

100 miles south of Atlanta

Salary Range 115-120k Very low cost of living area

What You’ll Be Doing

Conduct patient assessments, health histories, and physical exams.

Write prescriptions for medications, blood products, and follow-up treatments.

Evaluate clinical trial eligibility and interpret diagnostic test results.

Collaborate closely with physicians to ensure optimal patient care.

Manage acute and chronic patient needs, including family support and education.

Participate in daily rounds, multidisciplinary meetings, and patient triage.

Maintain detailed patient documentation and communicate with referring physicians.

Promote oncology and specialty services through outreach and patient education.

 

About You

Be able to do the job as described.

Master’s degree required (from an accredited NP or PA program).

Active Georgia APRN or PA-C license

Prescriptive privileges or eligibility to apply.

Oncology experience preferred (2-5 years), but specialty experience also considered.

BLS certification required; AOCN-P certification preferred.
