Director of Nursing Surgical Services

Join a 123-bed, acute-care hospital Located on a hillside overlooking the valley,

Compensation

Base Salary - USD $135,000 to $230,000

Full-time

Position description:

Responsible for coordinating clinical and non-clinical activities in Perioperative Services. Perioperative Services includes the following departments and services: Operating Room, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Outpatient Surgery, GI Lab, Sterile Processing, Cath Lab, Surgery, Ambulatory Surgery Center, and Donor Network. Responsible for overall managerial direction and 24-hour accountability which includes planning, leading, organizing and controlling, as well as developing staff to fulfill the goals of each department and the mission of the hospital. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer.

 

Qualifications

 

Minimum Education:

Required: Academic degree in nursing

Preferred: Bachelor’s or master’s degree

 

Minimum Experience/Skills:

Required: 2 Years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse/related position

Pay range: $83.36 - $133.37

Responsibilities

Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice. Has highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, proven leadership ability and hospital operational ability, and ability to serve as role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
