We are in search of a Full Time Cardio Invasive Specialist for the largest HC located in Albuquerque, NM.
CVIS pay start at $26.58 and max at $53.33/hr. plus 10 K Sign on bonus
We have three different levels based on years of experience in the Cath Lab. They work (4) 10 hour shifts from 7am- 5:30pm with call approximately 122 days a year outside those hours. On call pay is a minimum of 2 hours if called in at time and a half. $4/hr for being on call. We currently have positions open downtown Albuq and in Rio Rancho.
Cardio Invasive Specialists perform technical and patient care functions during diagnostic and intervention procedures in the Cardiovascular Lab.
Now offering Sign-on bonuses up to $15,000 based on experience.
Relocation assistance of up to $6,000 available for those who qualify.

Qualifications
*Associates Degree in Invasive Cardiovascular / Cardiopulmonary Technologist program, radiology, Respiratory therapy, paramedic;
Plus 2 years of adult Cath lab diagnostic and interventional procedure in performing scrubbing, circulating and monitoring and recording duties Preferred.
*3 years of additional experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
*RCIS or RCES or must be signed up for RCIS test within 18 months of employment and obtained within 2 years of employment. RCES for EP must be signed up test within 30 months of employment and obtained within 3 years of employment.
*ACLS & PALS is required within the first 6 months
*Requires detailed knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, disease processes and principles of cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional technology.
Responsibilities
*Functions as a Scrub Technologist: to include Adult Cardiac Catheterization, Vascular Catheterization, Cardiac Devices and/or Pediatric Cardiac
Catheterization and/or Electrophysiology and/or Neuro Intervention and/or Structural Heart.
*After successful completion of RCIS or RCES: Functions as a Circulator with medication/IV responsibilities: to include Adult Cardiac
Catheterization, Cardiac Devices, Vascular Catheterization, and/or Pediatric Cardiac Catheterization and/or Electrophysiology and/or Neuro
Intervention and/or Structural Heart.
*Functions as a Monitoring/Recording Technologist: to include Adult Cardiac Catheterization, Vascular Catheterization, Cardiac Devices, and/or
Pediatric Cardiac Catheterization and/or Electrophysiology and/or Neuro Intervention and/or Structural heart.
*Performs administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, ensuring maintenance of equipment, and cleanliness of the lab.
*Assists in orientation and training of new staff.
*Ensures that complete and accurate documentation is maintained either in electronic or hard copy form.
*Assists in Collection of data for quality metrics and is involved in Quality improvement projects which may include audits.
*Anticipates case specific needs based on knowledge of procedure and pathophysiology regarding patient and procedure.
*Acts as Super user and resource for assigned equipment, procedure or New Technologies.
*Supports Laser, Radiation.
*Wellness or Safety officer for the department.
*Assists with the maintenance of team cohesiveness and positive customer relationships.
*Assures compliance to hospital policies and procedures.
*Respond and provide emergent care.
*Assures preparedness of procedure rooms and compliance in accordance to PHS, Local and Federal regulations.
*Practices safety, infection, radiation and environmental standards and maintains continuing education requirements.
*Supports and participates in unit based staff meeting and/or system wide shared governance councils.
*Consults and informs supervisor as needed.
*Circulate, scrub and record independently on Adult Diagnostic/Interventional procedures and in 2 out of 5 other service areas (Electrophysiology,
Cardiac Devices, Pediatrics, Neuro Intervention, Structural Heart and/or Vascular).
*Performs other functions as required.
