Qualifications must-Haves
Graduate of an approved program of Ultrasound/Sonography, or equivalent. - Required
Licenses: ARDMS and RVT Registered or if new graduate, must be ARDMS eligible and pass a test in at least one area (ie Abdomen, OBGYN) including physics within one year of employment and pass the RVT exam within 18 months of employment.
NM license to practice as a Sonographer.
Must be able to work independently.
Nice-To-Haves
Prefer 2-3 years of Sonography experience.
Hospital based Sonography experience.
Job Description
Under the general guidance of the physicians/provider , performs a variety of diagnostic and vascular sonographer procedures. Performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
