Pharmacy Manager of Oncology Infusion Services

We seek a highly skilled and motivated pharmacist to lead our pharmacy team in provision of outstanding pharmaceutical care.
Job Summary
The Pharmacy Manager of Oncology Infusion Services provides leadership to the pharmacists in charge/supervisors at each site, clinical staff pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in the daily operations of our three oncology pharmacies. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, maintaining USP 797/800 best practices, promoting staff acquisition, training and growth, assisting in development of policies and procedures for safe and effective medication therapy, directing stewardship of financial resources including 340B compliance, and establishing effective personal relationships with medical and nursing leaders to foster essential team relationships among pharmacists, nurses and physicians.
Qualifications
-Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an ACPE accredited college of pharmacy
-A minimum of five years of clinical experience
-Three years of oncology infusion experience preferred
-Management experience preferred
-PGY-2 Residency preferred
-Board Certification preferred
-Kentucky Board of Pharmacy license required (or reciprocation eligible).
-Indiana Board of Pharmacy license within 6 months of hire
-BLS/ACLS within 6 months of hire
-Oversee approximately 34 employees
-Previous Manager was there 8 years, relocated due to promotion
-Monday thru Friday day shift position, 7:30am-4:30pm, no weekends or on-call
-Reports to DOP
Salary range: $134,388 - $174.720 - $214,240 (somewhere close to the midpoint is usually what they pay)
3 infusion sites, 2 in Kentucky near Louisville, one in Southern Indiana (The Manager might have to travel occasionally amongst the three facilities, all are within 20 minutes from one another). There are PIC's and supervisors at each location, they are USP 797, 800 certified, 340B facilities and 340B "clean sites". They use EPIC as their EHR. ACHC accredited facility. They have state of the art software, "Image Capture".
Candidate profile: Someone who can ensure compliance, regulations, who can help promote staff, training, growth, enforce policies and procedures. They have an oncology committee that meets. Someone who can create relationships amongst nurses, physicians, pharmacists, create a cohesive partnership. The PIC's handle the day to day workload, they would love this Pharmacy Manager to be able to look to the future, be innovative, forward thinking!
