We are seeking candidates for an Emergency Room Nurse Manager Opportunity with a 100 plus bed Not for Profit hospital located in southern North Carolina.
Annual ER Visits – 50,128
ER Beds – 34
General hours are Monday through Friday 8a – 5p, however, since this is a 24/7 nursing department, early morning hours and rounding on mid and night shifts is important.
FTEs overseen/reporting to leader – 70.47 FTEs. We have an ER Director and an ER Coordinator position already. This is a new position in between those two positions. This position reports to the ER Director.
This is an Exempt position.
This is a new position due to expansion and opening of our Clinical Decision Unit this fall. This position requires an active NC or multistate nursing license and a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree preferred. 3-5 years of Emergency Department experience required. At least 2-3 years of leadership experience is preferred. This position provides day-to-day management of the Emergency Center. The salary range for the position will be $120,000 - $130,000 with a Management Incentive Plan.
