COMPENSATION
Base Salary - $65,000 to $100,000

Description:
Collect key information from the patient, family, provider, and nurses that are specific to the exam being performed to assist the provider in the proper diagnosis.
Educate patient, family, or provider as to the extent and detail of each procedure, may include informed consent as well as pre-and post-procedure instructions.
Ensure patient is properly dressed and screened before entering MRI safety zone 3. Adhere to MRI safety zones (1-4) per policy.
Verify completeness and accuracy of MRI patient screening questionnaire.
Assist provider in performing invasive procedures.
Research and document patients’ medical history to assure that the patient is safe to be in the MRI environment.
Ensure the proper exam is being administered to the patient. Ensure proper patient positioning, coil selection and coil positioning. Consult Radiologist as needed.
Maintain proper inventory levels of all supplies as required.
Perform daily equipment inspections. Participate in call rotation as needed.
Performs the most advanced tasks with little to no supervision.
May be responsible for American College of Radiology (ACR) MRI testing/accreditation requirements, site specific.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Licenses/Certifications:
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI); OR
American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) certification.
American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification
B
