We are in search of a MLS Blood Bank Supervisor for Las Cruces, NM.
Reports To :Director – Lab
This is a 199-bed medical/surgical teaching hospital located in sunny Las Cruces, New Mexico with a population of 110,000 and a service area population of 300,000. Salary
$60,000.00 to $80,000.00
Relocation assistance up to $10k
Must possess a bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science
MLS or equivalent. ASCP certification preferred.
2 years’ experience working in Blood Bank in an acute care facility.
Have knowledge of AABB standards preferred.

Experience with Joint Commission Laboratory requirements
Strong communication skills
Experience with Quality assurance procedures.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Job Description
The Medical Lab Scientist (Med Tech) performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in the diagnosis and/or monitoring of various disease states. This position is a working Supervisor position for Blood Bank. Responsible for the day to day operations of the department. Responsible for regulatory compliance.
