Director of Quality and Compliance
Position Overview:
A respected home health agency in Pittsfield, Massachusetts is seeking a Director of Quality and Compliance to lead its regulatory compliance initiatives, oversee quality improvement efforts, and manage staff education programs. This role plays a critical part in upholding high standards of patient care, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, and achieving outstanding clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the agency's regulatory and quality expert, driving continuous improvement across all services.
- Lead initiatives in utilization review, patient satisfaction, infection control, and performance improvement.
- Oversee onboarding and education programs to maintain staff competency and regulatory compliance.
- Use data analytics to guide interventions and exceed national benchmarks.
- Participate in admin-on-call rotation every 6–8 weeks and cover 1–2 holidays per year.
Contribute to program development with a focus on value-based purchasing.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred.
- Licensure: Active RN license in Massachusetts required.
- Certifications:
o OASIS certification required or obtainable within 12 months.
o HCS-D or BCHH-C coding certification required or obtainable within 12 months.
- Experience:
o Minimum 5 years of recent experience in home health care.
o At least 3 years in a leadership or quality management role within a home health setting.
- Other Requirements:
o Reliable transportation is necessary.
o Must possess strong leadership, communication, and data analysis skills.
o Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.
