Description

 We are searching for a Pharmacy Director-New Mexico for 25 bed critical access hospital located in northwestern New Mexico Close to Arizona.

$15 Sign-on Bonus & Relocation

Salary Range: The starting is $124k and midpoint is $154k. (Based on experience)

 Position Summary:

Under the general direction of the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), the Director of Pharmacy performs duties of considerable difficulty in organizing and supervising Pharmacy services. Provides Pharmacy Service oversight responsibility of the Hospital, Home Health, College Clinic, Red Rock Clinic, and Behavioral Health Services/Substance Abuse Treatment Center. Performs as Pharmacist and takes Pharmacy Call approximately 35% of the time. The Director of Pharmacy is responsible for completing all duties as assigned.

 

Basic Qualifications:

Education:

 

Graduation from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy is required.

Experience:

At least three (3) years’ acute hospital pharmacy management experience is required.

 

Competent in the practice of hospital pharmacy (laws and regulations, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, sterile preparation, delivery and distribution systems, safety and infection standards, basic computer skills and ASHP standards of practice).

 

Licensure & Certifications:

Current licensure and registration as a Pharmacist in New Mexico required.

Sterile Products Certification required.
