ER DIRECTOR – SAN ANTONIO
Need a solid ER director (possibly a strong manager at a similar size hospital) experience with accomplishments/metrics listed on resume.
- Comp: depending on YOE but guessing the max could be between $145-160K.
- Incentive Bonus:
- 17.5% is the bonus if all goals are met and the payout is at 100%. Some of the metrics have the potential to exceed the bonus which is where the upside comes into play.
- Since it is all performance based (hospital performance) there is no way to let candidates know what is realistic. The payout could be anywhere from 0% to 26.25%.

Volume: 50k a year – ~136 a day

Staff: ~100 total – including 2 manager – day and night, CNCs/charge, EMS techs

Great Patient Experience scores – goal is above 30th% avg 55th%; SAN is # 1 in HCA in PE

FREE STANDING ER DIRECTOR – SAN ANTONIO
Over two FSEDs:
City Base – sees ~45 a day; lots of low acuity, like an urgent care. One manager.
Alamo Heights – sees ~40 a day; older population, good pay mix; ~12 FTEs. The director will be based here. Does not have a manager – CNCs.
Reports to the division VP Emergency Services.
Previous director left HCA due to performance.
