-The position reports to the Director of Critical Care
-The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of critical care experience, with a preference for those who have worked in a MICU setting due to the Med-Surg ICU/IMU environment. While CCRN certification is preferred, it is not mandatory. This role involves managing both ICU/IMU and Hemodialysis units, so a strong knowledge of Hemodialysis is highly desirable.

-Candidates must hold a BSN degree, have 5 years of critical care experience (MICU experience preferred), ACLS, PALS, BLS, CPI, CCRN certification preferred. The unit offers a distinct environment: a closed unit, 24-hour provider coverage, a strong provider-nurse relationship, and the presence of a dedicated critical care educator.
