We are search of a Director of Pharmacy (for a Miami lead Cancer Institute) located in Miami.
The position reports to the former Director who was promoted to Ass't. VP of Oncology Pharmacy.
This position is mostly outpatient, but they prefer someone who was an inpatient DOP who has also overseen a cancer center, transplant center, or satellite centers. Someone with strong operational experience, 340B, budget planning, financial acumen. It will be overseeing 6 Pharmacy leaders, numerous FTE's.
We are searching for someone good with developing services, strategy, someone strong operationally who knows how to run a pharmacy, rules & regulations, someone who can be a good mentor to the staff, they have a very high drug budget. Someone who has overseen clean rooms, cancer centers, etc. is a plus.
They are switching over to EPIC soon.
Compensation: $190k - $217k (10 years of experience, could be a little higher), $5,000 bonus 1/2 after 90 days, half after 1 year. Performance bonus up to 20% based on certain metrics and based on fiscal year. They will provide a generous relocation reimbursement as well.

The pharmacy director responsibilities include but not limited to the following: strategic planning designing, managing, and improving the medication-use system ensuring quality outcomes through performance-improvement activities leading drug-utilization efforts optimizing use of information systems and technology managing the pharmaceutical supply chain, pharmacy department financial operations, and human resources ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements fulfilling the organization‘s research and educational missions and providing institutional representation and leadership.
Qualifications:
7 plus years of experience. Bachelors, Florida Pharmacist License (eligible) and Consultant License required. Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD). Advanced degree (Masters‘ level) preferred.. MBA, MHA would be great.
