We are in search of a Labor and Delivery Unit Manager for a large healthcare located in Southeastern NC,
Salary is around $115-$120k + up to 10% bonus
This is a 300+ bed "not for profit" hospital client of mine, part of the largest academic health system in North Carolina, located near Fayetteville, NC
Unit Manager OB, Labor and Delivery
Position Summary:
The Unit Manager is a nurse leader who performs the primary functions of assessing, planning, implementing, directing, and evaluating patient care for the designated unit(s). Manages all personnel, supplies and equipment necessary to facilitate quality patient care. Keeps abreast of techniques, skills, current practices and regulations appropriate to age of patients served. Will oversee approx. 43 FTE's. This position is over L&D and Postpartum.
Minimum Required:
- BSN required.
- Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina (or eligible)
- BLS certification required; recertification required bi-annually.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a RN in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of, and ability to, develop strategies to apply current theoretical approaches to the delivery of patient care.
- Knowledge of current leadership, management and quality improvement concepts.
- Ability to perform and or lead program development and implementation.
