Level 3 NICU Manager Full Time Days
Location: Palm Springs, California
GENERAL DUTIES:
The NICU Nurse Manager has 24 hour, 7 days per week responsibility and accountability for the day-to-day coordination of department operations and quality of clinical nursing care of patients in the NICU. The NICU Manager reports directly to the Nursing Director of Women, Infants and Children.
Qualifications for Internal Candidates
Qualification:
Required:
LEVEL 3 NICU Manager experience required
Minimum of 5 years of NICU experience, 3 years full-time NICU leadership experience
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current California RN license
Bachelor’s Science of Nursing (in progress considered with definitive completion date)
Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (always maintain current)
Current NRP certification (always maintain current)
Certified in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing from the NCC or other nationally accredited organization (in progress considered with definitive completion date)
Skills:
Master’s degree in nursing
NRP Instructor Certification
Critical Care Transport Experience
5yrs or more LEVEL 3 NICU Manager experience
BSN
Certified NCC Neonatal ICU
Compensation
Base Salary - USD $145,600 to $187,200
