This is a licensed 122-bed facility accredited by the Joint Commission. It is Southwest Riverside County's only designated Trauma Center and a county-designated Paramedic Base Station. The hospital performs more than 4,000 surgeries a year and has an average of 4,000 Emergency Department visits per month. The hospital features a Bariatric Weight-Loss Surgery Center of Excellence and the region’s only Total Joint Center.
Description:
Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) the Director, Risk Management is responsible for directing, organizing, leading, implementing, and supervising day to day operations of the Risk Management efforts for SW. The director serves as the hospital Patient Safety Officer and Compliance Officer.
Qualifications:
Graduate of a state accredited school of nursing or graduate of an accredited collegiate program in a health-science related field.
Master’s degree in a healthcare related field, or a bachelor’s degree in related field with seven (7) years of director level experience; required
At least four (4) years leadership experience in an acute care facility
