REGISTERED NURSE DIRECTOR - SURGICAL SERVICES
The role of Director of Surgical Services leads the perioperative team by focusing on safe patient care while effectively managing operations. The Director Surgical Services has 24/7 responsibility for their departments.
What you will do in this role:
- You will accurately identify real/potential problems affecting the service and implements solutions with follow through and communication
- You will actively participate in service, departmental and hospital wide committees as assigned, providing ongoing communication to those ones represents
- You will advance the customer experience in Surgical Services
- You wil coach subordinates through providing feedback, constructive critique of work, facilitates individual development plan, and documents their job performance
- You will adhere to all Human Resource policies
- You will effectively communicate departmental, organization and industry information to staff
Minimum education of BSN. (MSN preferred.)
Needs to be RN, hybrid person that can put on scrubs, run room/circulate/get in with team
Must have a current RN license in the State of California
Preference is for a current OR Director, having experience as an manager or above in higher volume o
Compensation
Base Salary - USD $194,683 to $230,838

Someone who has background with bus development, strong physician relationships, divide & concur attitude
Work on recruitment, development, establish strong provider relations, not in office & not shy, can relate to others
Preference is for a current OR Director, having experience as an manager or above in higher volume or high complex OR, not surgery center, not an OR “bread & butter shop”; much more complex and fast paced
volume in OR is very fast; experience with a larger facility is a plus
