We are seeking candidates for Thoracic Surgery Physician Assistant
for Santa Clara CA.
Mon - Fri - 0830 - 1700 Every 3rd weekend; When working weekend, Thurs/Fri off; Start time variable & rotated amongst the team from 7am-3:30pm, 7:30am-4pm, 8:30am-5pm Standby required after hours
Salary: USD $164,000 – $212,000 / yr

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Experience
• N/A
Education
• Graduate of an approved primary care physician assistant or surgical assistant program.
• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
License, Certification, Registration
• Licensed by State of California as a physician assistant.
• Current BLS certification.
• Must have a National Provider Identifier (NPI), or obtain an NPI, prior to employment start date.
Additional Requirements:
• Experience as a cardiovascular physician assistant.
• Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
General Thoracic surgery, robotics, full scope of Thoracic Oncology services preferred
What are the 3-4 non-negotiable requirements of this position?
Previous: Licensed by State of CA as a physician Assistant
Current BLS certification, National Provider Identifier
Experience as a PA within surgical Subspecialties
New: Experience as a PA within surgical Subspecialties
Licensed by State of CA as a physician Assistant

Previous: Experience as a Thoracic Surgery Physician Assistant
Experience in Robotics
New: Experience as a Thoracic Surgery Physician Assistant, 3 years highly preferred
