RADIATION THERAPIST, ONCOLOGY
We are looking for a Radiation Therapist to join our growing Cancer Institute team! In your role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Radiation Oncologist team delivering the prescribed course of therapy to our patients. From observing and reporting unusual treatment reactions, to maintaining proper open communication, assisting with procedures and much more, you will have the constant opportunity to learn and grow in your area of specialty and the continuum of care for our patients.
This Community Medical Center opened at its current location as a 109-bed hospital in 1988. Since then, there's been nothing but growth. Today, Clovis Community has 208 private patient rooms and another 144 under construction. We've added a freestanding Cancer Institute and other specialty programs and now perform more than 13,000 surgeries annually. This means increasing opportunity and growth for your career!
Responsibilities:
Delivers accurately, a prescribed course of therapy as directed by a Radiation Oncologist. Delivers treatment with care, respecting the patient's rights and privacy. Maintains proper communication with the patient, physicians, and staff. Reports any unusual reactions or events to the designated personnel and assists in emergency treatment. Observes radiation safety measures for the patient and staff.
Qualifications:
Education
Completion of an AMA approved Radiation Therapy Program required
Licenses and Certifications
CRT - State of California Certified Radiologic Technologist required
ARRT(T) - ARRT Radiation Therapy required.
BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required

Base Salary - USD $92,850 to $139,275
