RADIATION ONCOLOGY NAVIGATOR (RN)
Responsible for assisting in guidance and coordination of Radiation Oncology patients and their caregivers through the continuum of care and development and assimilation of appropriate oncology educational materials for patients and their families as defined by department and patient's physicians. Serves as a clinical resource person to nursing staff, physicians, and other health care team members.
Provides Patient Care Nursing activities, such as assessment, education, and advocacy.
Ensure smooth coordination of care by communicating with the multiple parties involved in the radiation treatment and other departments
Develops and maintains office related functions to ensure smooth program and patient throughput.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; BSN's from CCNE accredited schools
Minimum of 3 - 5 years of RN experience
Oncology experience strongly preferred
MD RN license or eligibility required
American Heart Association BLS CPR required
Base Salary - USD $70,000 to $108,000
