    We are seeking candidates for a Patient Care Nurse Manager Regional Cancer Services Opportunity at a major University hospital in heart of Silicon Valley California.
    Base Salary - $160,000 to $200,000

    Client offer state of the art care with easy accessibility for residents on the Peninsula. In 202 0they will be opening a larger secondary location in Redwood City. They are a five-physician medical oncology practice newly acquired by them. They are working to develop additional cancer services at both of their locations including adding surgical oncology, genetic counseling, and more supportive services.
    The clinical cancer program is one of the largest clinical services at Medical Center and encompasses roughly 200,000 outpatient visits, 900 non-physician FTEs, and over 125 faculty.     Position description:
    Manages patient care in a cost-effective manner, consistent with the financial goals of the organization. Plans and is accountable for the annual operative and capital budget for areas of responsibility.
    Responsible for employee recruitment, performance evaluation, progressive discipline and staff development. Develops a strong culture of teamwork to ensure the quality of daily operations, effective interdepartmental collaborations, and the timely achieve
    Works collaboratively with Labor Relations on bargaining unit issues and contract negotiations at the local level. Facilitates and oversees resolution of human resources, labor relations, and employee safety and risk management issues.
    Keeps abreast of and implements new or changing patient care standards of practice, scope of practice, competency development and assessment, policies and procedures, and new programs. Collaborates with physicians and develops proposals for improvements t
    Collaborates and provides input, on marketing, facilities, and fiscal planning. Drafts business plans to introduce quality improvements to clinical service delivery in accordance with best practices.
    Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team of health care clinicians in efforts to develop healthcare policies, practice standards, and improve services.
    Monitors expenditures and the annual budgets for patient care services and / or clinic operations.

    Qualification preferred/required:
    Minimum 5 years nursing experience
    Experience working as RN in cancer services
    Strong clinic / infusion center patient care management skills. Practice management knowledge in sch
    Strong interpersonal skills to create and maintain a climate for effective communication and collabo
    Strong leadership, fiscal, and operations management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
    Knowledge of relevant healthcare information technology and patient care workflows and processes.
    Demonstrated knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, as well as related legislative, accredit
    Proven ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, and delegate work functions efficiently.
    Knowledge of current and emerging best practices and technologies in the clinic / center healthcare
    Demonstrated organizational and project management skills, with the ability to lead a team, priority
    Bachelor of Nursing degree
