    We are seeking candidates for a NURSE MANAGER - EMERGENCY DEPT – opportunity in Lubbock area of Texas

    Our client Health is seeking a Full-time, Day Shift Manager Nursing for Emergency Dept Department Apply Today!

    Base Salary - USD $86,800 to $149,000

    Job Summary:

    Plans, supervises, and evaluates the delivery of nursing care, the performance of assigned staff, and unit management 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, for designated clinical area(s). Works closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure continuity of care across the continuum. Minimal supervision required.

    Minimum Position Requirements

    Education:

    Candidates must meet the criteria to sit for the NCLEX examination and become licensed in the State of Texas.

    Coursework/Training JACC Medical Oncology and Physicians’ Offices:

    Maintains radiation safety training annually.

    Maintains conscious sedation education annually.

    Bachelor's Degree Nursing (for areas listed):

    Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiac Services Education and Research.

    Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

    Pediatric Emergency Department.

    Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit.

    Experience:

    3 years Professional nursing experience.

    2 years Clinical experience in specific clinical area.

    Licenses and Certifications:

    BLS (AHA) required within (30 days of employment).

    Required (Texas Locations): Current license to practice professional nursing from the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners or approved compact State as a Registered Nurse..

    Pediatric Emergency Department:

    PALS Certification required.

    Preferred Position Qualifications:

    Education:

    Bachelor's Degree Nursing.

    Master's Degree Nursing (for areas listed):

    Experience:

    Supervisory/leadership experience.

    Licenses and Certifications:

    ACLS and/or PALS.

    Specialty certification related to practice.

    IDEAL CANDIDATE

    Ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in Nurse leadership. Experience working in an ED as well as a specialized certification in a nurse specialty area.
