NURSE MANAGER, LONG-TERM CARE (LTC)

The Nurse Manager will oversee two units at Levindale Hospital, part of Life Bridge Health. The units are subacute rehab and long-term care (LTC). Responsible for ensuring that safe, age-appropriate patient care is provided during hours of unit operation. Hall 1 and Hall 2's patient population are primarily geriatric. The Nurse Manager functions as role model, advisor, resource, and leader for other members of the patient care team. Of equal importance is each employee's commitment to the value of teamwork in order to promote a unified and spirited workplace. Directly supervises an Assistant Nurse Manager.
Hall 1 (Subacute Care): Comprised of a 42-bed long-term care unit that offers residents daily activities along with a wide range of services and support. Hall 1 is sub-acute rehabilitation with high complexity of needs. This unit is a fast-paced, busy atmosphere with patient conditions ranging post operation, post stroke, post cardiac, ambulatory rehab, as well as high volume for wound care and prevention.
Hall 2 (LTC/Memory Care): Comprised of a 50-bed long-term care unit that offers residents daily activities along with a wide range of services and support. Hall 2 is a standard long-term care unit with differing patient acuity levels, from high functioning to bedridden. Diagnoses include diabetes, cardiac issues, dementia, behavior, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field; Graduate of a CCNE accredited school of nursing
Associate’s degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN) and national certification preferred
5-7 years relevant experience
Maryland Registered Nurse License (RN)
American Heart Association CPR (BLS) certification
CARE BRAVELY at Levindale Hospital, a Life Bridge Health facility
Direct patient care for geriatric patient population
Subacute rehab or LTC experience
Registered Nurse (RN) License
American Heart Assoc. CPR (BLS) Cert
Associate's degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
Base Salary - USD $100,000 to $130,000
