**Sign on Eligibility $10k - $15k based on experience and Relo of $6k
This position is eligible for a sign-on and relocation bonus of up to $21,000!
Overview
In collaboration with the Director of Case Management, the Nurse Manager - Utilization Management provides leadership for the care coordination department and oversees the department's daily activities.
The Manager, Case Management coordinates the integration of utilization management and discharge/transition planning functions to provide effective outcome based, patient-centered care.
Serves as the central resource to the Director of Care Management to develop tools, processes and systems to optimize the department and organizational strategic goals
This is a full time (1.0 FTE), exempt position. Work Schedule is Weekdays, Monday - Friday.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse - State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License required.
BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing required; master’s degree in nursing is preferred.
Certification in an approved Case Management Program preferred or obtained within one year of hire date.
Five years of relevant acute care clinical experience required.
Relevant personnel management/leadership experience Three years of Case Management or Utilization Management experience, in an acute hospital or relevant setting.
