The Nurse Manager will oversee two patient care units : Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) and Open Heart Step Down (OHSD). The Cardiac ICU is 6 beds and the Open Heart Step-down unit is 8 beds. The Nurse Manager functions as role model, advisor, resource, and leader for other members of the patient care team. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; master's degree preferred
3-5 years relevant experience, with 5 years progressive nursing experience and leadership experience
Maryland Registered Nurse License (RN)
American Heart Association CPR (BLS) and ACLS certifications
National certification in area of specialty preferred within one year of hire
Registered Nurse (RN)
Must have Cardiac/Heart Care and Critical Care experience, as well as nursing leadership background (example: nurse manager, assistant nurse manager, nurse leader).
