Our client, a nationwide Outpatient Imaging company, has a need for a MRI Tech to join their team in the Memphis, TN area.
This position is normally Monday – Friday with occasional Saturday (scheduled a month in advance). No call, no holidays, no late nights. Shifts can vary depending on volumes and staff coordination/agreement. Hours of operation are M-F 6a to 7m with Saturdays 7a to 3 p. There are two magnets, one a Siemens and the other a GE. The average daily volume for MRI is 40 scans and typically there are 3 techs in rotation each day.
There are cross training opportunities in CT if the candidate expresses interest.
Some staff prefer 6 am to 2:30 pm, 9a – 7 p, or 6 a – 7p. There is opportunity to work 32 hours per week with full benefits (unless tech prefers to work 40) and there is a shift differential of $2.00 per hour to work the “evening” shift to 7 pm and a $5.00 per hour weekend differential. The pay ranges from $30.00 to $35.00 per hour based on skills and registries.

This is a gorgeous outpatient imaging center in a nice suburb of Memphis that is safe, clean, and filled with lots to do. The Radiologists are wonderful and are partners in this center. There are approximately 38 on staff, of which 22 are full time and the remaining part time or PRN.
We're looking for a highly-skilled performer who is efficient in a busy outpatient environment. Must be able to work independently and demonstrate excellent patient care standards. Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography and maintain current valid registration from ARRT. Additionally, must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice. BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
- Up to 5 years experience as a MRI Technologist
- Must have a minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography and maintain current valid registration from ARRT. Must also hold a MR advanced registration through ARRT or must obtain it within their first 12 months of employment. Additionally, must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice. BLS certification required within 60 days of hire
