IMAGING SERVICES MANAGER - ADMINISTRATION –
California – Riverside Region
We are looking for an Imaging Services Manager with $1,000 Sign-On Bonus for the Administration at Providence Medical Foundation. $1,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment.
Work Schedule: Full time - 80 Biweekly Hours
Shift: 8-hour, Days
This role is responsible for the safe, ethical and efficient operation of the Imaging department, and ensures that there is adequate coverage of the department by qualified technical personnel. Acts as department liaison with the administration and radiologists. Under the direction of a radiologist, does a variety of technical work related to the taking and processing of x-ray films and other work relative to the department's scope of activities, or delegates these responsibilities and duties to subordinate personnel, when employed, and oversees their functions.
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and an e-mail system.
Shall have a working knowledge of all phases of x-ray department functions.
Ability to establish effective working relationships with physicians and fellow workers.
Ability to make good, ethical decisions in the best interest of the patient, radiologist, and radiology department.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex medical documents.
Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
Ability to document patient records and articles using original or innovative techniques or style.
Ability to communicate effectively and make presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, patients, other physicians and/or boards of directors.
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, and permutations.
Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as they relate to the field of radiology.
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, patient records, etc.) in its most difficult phases.
Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
Minimum Position Requirements:
Education: Graduate of a program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Association, or equivalent of such education and training as determined by the Director of Radiology Services.
10 or more years experience as a working diagnostic technologist.
2 years experience in a supervisory capacity.
Licensed by the State of California as a Certified Radiology Technologist (C.R.T.).
Current CPR (BLS) certification.
Valid California driver’s license.
Automobile insurance for employee-owned vehicles.
Preferred Position Qualifications:
Registered by A.R.R.T. or eligible for registry.
Member of the California Society of Radiologic Technologist.
Base Salary - USD $101,358 to $172,203
