Our client, a 100 bed hospital located in Southern TN, just over an hour from Nashville, has a need for a Director of Women’s Services to join their team.
The Women's Services Department Director is a Registered Nurse with clinical experience in the care of the perinatal, laboring, newborn, and gynecological patient populations. This director is a member of the Nursing Administration Team and reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer. The Director must be able to work collaboratively with all members of the administrative and health care team and must be able to effectively lead others. This director is responsible for providing clinical and operational oversight to the unit and is responsible for ensuring the standards of care are met for the patients served. The Director is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and that staffing goals are met in the units managed. This director is responsible for the coordination of patient care, performance improvement and clinical operations of the unit. The Director is a working manager and may provide direct or indirect patient care within the hospital.
They deliver, roughly, 150 babies a year. They have a 6 bed unit with L&D, and nursery housed all in one unit. Their nurses take care of moms and babies throughout the entire labor process. They have 4 family practice obstetric trained physicians who deliver and care for their patients. They also care for their female population who are post operative for things such as GYN surgeries and even select breast surgeries. They have 8.82 RN FTE and they are working to build the program through several growth and outreach initiatives.
- Active RN License in TN or Compact License
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in the care of OB patients and newborns. Previous management, leadership, or house supervision is preferred.
- ADN from an accredited college; BSN from an accredited college or higher degree preferred

Salary range is $80-100K with some flexibility on salary DOE. Full relo asst, up to a 10% bonus potential, possible sign on bonus.
