Our client, a 75+ bed hospital located just over an hour from Tucson in SE AZ, has a need for a Director of Women’s & Children’s Services to join their team.
The Director of Women and Children’s Services, reflects the purpose and values of the Medical Center, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
Under the general direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, assumes the responsibility for overall operations of the Women and Children’s Services Unit (Antepartum, Labor & Delivery, Newborn Nursery, and Post-Partum areas). Develops, implements, and promotes strategies for excellent patient care delivery. Collaborates with medical leadership and hospital departments to meet organizational performance targets, ensure a professional work environment, facilitate timeliness of services, and enhance patient satisfaction and care for the women and their families. Effectively manages the resources of the department and meets financial targets. Models effective leadership behaviors to achieve organizational outcomes
Requires degree from an accredited school of nursing, BSN required, Masters’ Degree and certification in maternal/child nursing preferred; current AZ RN license required.
Five years nursing experience including a minimum of two years of experience in maternal/child nursing.
Minimum of two years of nursing leadership in a manager or higher position required.
Must obtain the following certifications within 90 days of hire; ACLS, BLS, NRP and STABLE.

Salary range is $83,574.00-- $134,555.00 plus sign on bonus/relo asst.
