Opportunity #1-Service Director Women’s Services- Salary Range $192,462.40 - $288,683.20 Yearly* * Please note, pay rates are determined based upon related years of experience and internal equity.

This large nationally recognized not-for-profit Magnet hospital is looking to fill a Service Director Women’s Services opportunity. This position will report to the Admin Director Women’s and Children’s Services and responsible the provision of administrative support and oversight for Women’s Services. Provides authority and accountability for the nurse executive functions; participates with leaders from the administrative leadership team, management, medical staff and clinical areas in the hospital’s decision making structures and processes; coordinates and carries out assigned projects to effectively support the hospital’s immediate and long range objectives; shares the responsibility for administration of the day-to-day operation of the hospital; carries out the philosophy and general objectives of the hospital. The Service Director is responsible for developing strategic goals for the department/service grouping as well as fiscal year business plans required to achieve such goals. The Service Director translates strategies into day-to-day operations.
The Birth Center consists of 12 Birthing Rooms (12 beds), 3 Labor Rooms (4 beds), 6 High Risk Antepartum/High Risk Post-Partum rooms (6 beds), a 3 bay Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and two OR’s. The philosophy of this unit is to foster family unity in a home-like environment while providing safe and therapeutic care to obstetric and neonatal patients. Registered Nurses in the Birth Center are certified in BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
The Mother Infant Unit consists of 24 rooms and 29 beds; 5 rooms can accommodate semi-private occupancy, and a Level I newborn nursery area designed for the purpose of providing respite when needed, observation of high risk infants, and a procedure room. The philosophy of the unit is to foster family unity in a Baby Friendly™ environment while respecting parental choices regarding feeding and rooming- in, providing safe and therapeutic care.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and one of the following master’s Degrees: MSN, MBA, MHA.
- California Registered Nurse, BLS certification.
- Five years of progressively responsible healthcare management/ administrative/leadership experience.
Opportunity #2-Director Maternal Child-Salary is $140,000-$195,000 Please note, pay rates are determined based upon related years of experience.

The CNO is one of the best in the industry and the hospital system is growing with a possibility of adding 2 additional hospitals in the Los Angeles area. This hospital is located within an easy commute from any north Orange County city or the San Gabriel valley locations.
This hospital is over 550-beds non-profit. This position will oversee Labor & Delivery and maternal newborn approximately 100 FTEs with about 160-170 deliveries a month. This position is open due to retirement. The hospital has an incredible culture where you will find many people who have stayed their entire careers. This position reports to an incredibly supportive Admin Director who is looking to either partner with an experienced Director or help mentor someone ready to take the next step.
Ideal candidate
- Minimum of 5 years labor and delivery management
- MSN preferred
