We are seeking candidates for a Director of Surgical Services opportunity with a 174 bed, level 3 trauma center and non-profit community hospital located in beautiful Arkansas.

Number of FTE 60-65
Is there a surgery manger in place? An OR Clinical Supervisor is in place
Number of annual surgery performed and type of surgery general, GI, ortho, OB, ENT primarily - around 5500 surgeries and 1800 GI lab procedures a year
Qualification required/preferred. At least a BSN, with at least 10 years’ experience in surgery and 5 years’ leadership experience
The director of surgical services has the responsibility, authority, and accountability for the clinical, financial, and personnel management of surgical services units on a 24-hour basis. He/she leads the unit in development and maintenance of the business of surgery and for the development of a work force who consistently strives to exceed stated standards of the patient care service department and hospital goals and philosophies.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN.
Minimum of ten years' current experience in perioperative surgical services.
Minimum of five years' current leadership, staff development and progressive management experience.
Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification:
Current RN license for the state of Arkansas. BSN degree.
CPR with re-certification every 2 years.
CNOR certification, continuing education requirement to retain certification; MSN
