    We are in search of candidates for a Director of Surgical Services role with a 47-bed acute care facility that provides medical services to the people of Santa Fe Region. A healthcare leader in Northern New Mexico, offers a host of services including 24-hour emergency care, imaging and laboratory services, women’s services, urology, oncology, and newborn care, and general and colorectal surgery.

    We are seeking a Director of Surgical Services to join our amazing client hospital team! Now offering a $30,000 sign-on bonus for a 36-month commitment or a $25,000 sign-on bonus for a 24-month commitment. They also offer a housing allowance of $1,000 for up to 12 months upon relocation.

     

    Salary range $113,152.00 to $169,728.00

    Full RELOCATION PACKAGE

     

    Qualifications must-Haves

    Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.

    Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)/ENPC to be completed within six (6) months of hire.

    Licenses: Current NM RN licensure or appropriate RN Compact licensure.

    This Director position develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization for the Surgical Services department(s).  Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care deliver, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.  Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.  Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.  Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.  Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
