DIRECTOR QUALITY MANAGEMENT
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada
Our hospital client is a member of The Valley Health System, a network of six acute care hospitals that provide care for patients throughout Southern Nevada and nearby communities. Located in southwest Las Vegas, the 364-bed hospital offers emergency care, advanced cardiovascular and neurological surgeries and procedures, surgical services, women’s health, comprehensive maternity services, a level III neonatal intensive care unit, and specialty programs in stroke, chest pain, acute inpatient rehabilitation, advanced wound care and hyperbaric medicine with a limb salvage program.
Responsible for the activities related to improvement of quality metrics, process and outcomes. Directs, educates, initiates and communicates to hospital leaders and physicians
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a related field Masters Degree preferred
Minimum 5 years clinical experience with 2 years QA or PI preferred and a minimum of 2 years management experience
Computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheet and database
If RN, current RN license in the state of Nevada
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the organization
Lean Six Sigma training helpful
Clinical and Quality Management experience
BACHELOR OR MASTERS DEGREE
Base Salary - USD $109,500 to $132,000

The ideal candidate must possess clinical knowledge and skill in an Adult ICU setting of at least 3 + years and management experience of at least 5 years. The Director will have ultimate responsibility for the daily operations and management of all Critical Care units and Telemetry units at Spring Valley Hospital. Must be a team player, a quality & safety champion and be a leader and role model for staff and peers alike.
