    Description

    Our client, two smaller hospitals located in beautiful WY, about 3 hrs from Jackson, has a need for a Director of Perioperative Services to join their team.

    The System Director Peri-Operative Service is responsible for the planning, organizing, and directing of the operations and staff, clinical and nonclinical, of the Peri-Operative, Infusion, and Cath Lab departments. The patient transitions include preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative for inpatient and outpatient surgical services procedural, post anesthesia care unit, central sterile, and infusion. The System Peri-Operative Service and Infusion Director will divide time, duties, and attention at both campuses based on the need of the patients, departments, organization, and system.

    Job Requirements

    Required Licenses
    Current RN License in the State of Wyoming or Compact equivalent

    Minimum Education
    Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or equivalent experience
    Master's Degree in a related discipline preferred

    Minimum Work Experience
    Minimum 5 years' progressively responsible experience
    Prior operational and supervisory experience within a complex medical center preferred

    Required Skills
    Analytical ability sufficient to evaluate data, make judgments and recommendations regarding operations and budgets, design protocols, and generate well developed reports.
    Professional knowledge sufficient to assure quality of care and patient safety provided with multidisciplinary services areas

    Required Skills
    Must have current BLS from American Heart Association
    ACLS certification within 90 days of hire
    PALS certification within 90 days of hire

    Salary range is $73,000—109,600 plus relo asst, temp housing allowance and eligible for up to a 10% bonus.
