We are seeking candidates for a Director of Human Resources opportunity with 286 beds not for profit hospital located in Columbia South Carolina region.
Our client uses PeopleSoft and Taleo software. There are 9 employees in HR – 5 direct reports.

Report to COO
Leads and directs the operations of Human Resources. Provides consultation to department leaders on strategic staffing plans, compensation, benefits, training and development and workers’ compensation.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required, Masters Degree preferred. Eight years (including 5 years in a Human Resources management role) of generalist experience, preferably in a health care environment is required. Also requires strong in-house consulting skills, excellent customer service/team orientation and interpersonal competencies, sound knowledge of compensation and benefit program methodology/structure, employee relations/policies, performance management process and procedures and the tactical, processes and procedures in the daily operations of a Human Resource Department. PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
