United Pro Search is seeking candidates for a Director of Emergency for a county-owned, not -for-profit, 68 bed acute care hospital located in more rural area of NM.
Client had an interim Director for about 2 months, and he wasn’t the right fit
They currently have an internal interim Director
We are looking for a Director with documented years of experience as an ER Director/Manager
BSN (MSN is preferred)
Client has a 10 bed ER with 3 beds for “fast track” services
They are working on getting Trauma Level 4 status
Approximately 50-60 patients/day
Approximately 500 transfers/year – we look at our transfers every day
This position reports to the Chief Nursing Officer
Oversees approximately 28 employees
They have a dedicated ER triage nurse and tech
They have their own EMS service and they have a helicopter service
