United Pro Search is seeking candidates for a Director of Emergency opportunity with a community hospital located in Southeast Texas (near Corpus Christi)
Pay around 130K.
The Director of Emergency Services plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and evaluates care and staffing for the Emergency Departments at Navarro and North Campus. Evaluation of staffing includes planning for the next shift. Provides direction, support and guidance to the staff and demonstrates positive role model in response to questions, issues or concerns raised by staff, family, or physicians.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing as evidenced by licensure in the State of Texas by BNE or compact agreement,
Licenses/Certificates:
License to practice in the State of Texas or Compact Licensure Agreement
Current BLS certification or obtained during orientation
Current ACLS or obtained within the first year on the job
Current TNCC or obtained within the first year on the job
Current ENPC or obtained within the first year on the job
Current NIHSS certification or obtained during orientation
Recommended as able to obtain: CEN, ABLS, ADLS, BDLS, CDLS
Experience:
Minimum two years clinical experience in Emergency Nursing.
Proficiency in basic management:
1.Writing policy and procedure
2.Staff Development
3.Implementation of policy
4.Specific knowledge of NIMS and Emergency Preparedness
Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, self-directed, excellent time management and problem solving skills.
