Our client, a 100 bed hospital located in Northern NC, located about 1 hr from Raleigh and about 45 mins from Durham, is seeking an experienced RN Director of Case Management to join their team. Candidates MUST have ACUTE CARE HOSPITAL Case Management experience.
The Case Management Director is the first line manager designated as the leader for Case Management team. The Case Management Director has accountability and responsibility for departmental functions of case management, concurrent coding, utilization review, financial outcomes management, social work, patient education. Plans, coordinates, directs the fiscal, personnel and patient care activities to assure that standards of care and standards of practice are met as appropriate for the patient care needs and the age of the patient in as cost effective manner as possible. Collaborates with Quality Management and Nursing Directors in promoting positive clinical outcomes. Responsible for integration of the department into the overall functioning of the organization.
Associate's degree required in nursing
Bachelor's degree and Master's degree preferred.
Licenses: Currently licenses as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina or a Compact state required
Certifications: BLS Certification required
Minimum Work Experience
At least 3 years’ experience in clinical acute care nursing required
Previous supervisory experience required

Salary range is $110,000—120,000 plus up to a $20,000 in a sign on bonus.
