Experience working in a for-profit hospital strongly preferred.

Ability to navigate the behavioral health system.
Job Description
Behavioral Health Director is responsible for directing all aspects of inpatient psychiatric operations, including managing and mentoring staff, developing, and enforcing policies and procedures, preparing and maintaining accreditation and accountability for the department’s budget and productivity. This position supports psychiatric care throughout the facility.
Minimum Education: Must possess a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Advanced degree in Business, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
Minimum Experience: Five years of mental health experience with at least two years’ experience in a leadership role. Experience working in a for-profit hospital strongly preferred. Previous leadership, program development, budget and productivity, and clinical experience required. Must possess strong human relations and interpersonal skills.
Licensure: Current New Mexico Nursing License or compact license required.
