Our client, a 100+ bed hospital centrally located about an hour from Raleigh and Fayetteville, NC, has a need for an experienced Med Surg/ICU Director to join their team.
The selected candidate will report to the Chief Nursing Officer and will manage the daily operations of the Medical Surgical department and ICU department. The selected candidate will lead patient satisfactions initiatives, manage performance improvement initiatives, manage department budget, facilitate department meetings, develop staff competencies, and participate in leadership meetings.
Med Surg unit details:
-51 bed unit
-Some tele, mostly med monitoring
-Med Surg also has Infusion Unit
-Med Surg Manager
ICU unit details:
-8 bed facility with 10.8 FTEs
-No ICU Manager
- Requires a BSN degree and licensed by the NC Board of Nursing. Master's Degree preferred.
- Five (5) years of acute care experience and at least three (3) years of leadership experience.
- Sound Fiscal Management skills a plus.
- Experience with implementing best practices and quality initiatives for Med Surg and ICU.

Salary range is $104,000—135,200—145,000. No bonus structure in place. Offering up to $10K in relo assistance.
