    Clinic Logistics

    • Oversees Family Practice, Walk-in, Women’s Clinic including Behavioral Health and General Surgery clinics attached to the hospital
    • Oversees 5 rural healthcare clinics
    • Manages approximately 80 FTEs including 1 Nurse Manager, 3 Clinic Managers



    • Serves as primary administrator for WHC clinic operations; responsible for the ongoing leadership, development, growth, enhancement, unification and overall direction of operations of Waverly Health Center clinics.
    • Ensures clinic operations integrate into the overall alignment of the organizational strategic plan.
    • Responsible for creating a culture of innovation, learning, teamwork, and professional practice, consistent with the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
    • Effectively communicates with staff, providers, patients, and the organization’s management team to foster an environment of openness, trust, teamwork, and staff development.
    • Oversees provider and staff recruitment and staffing efforts; identifies capacity levels and evaluates prospecting candidates to ensure employment arrangements will meet clinic operational needs.
    • Responsible for overall compliance with Rural Health Clinic (RHC), Provider Based Clinic, accreditation and surveying regulations.
    • Demonstrates sound fiscal management of clinic operations through comprehensive budgetary planning, variance analysis/justification, and regular monitoring of financial performance and productivity.
    • Assists providers and clinic staff with planning and organizational skills to provide optimum quality patient care in accordance with vision, goals, and objectives of the organization.
    • Develops and presents relevant analytics to collaborate with the organization’s leadership team, providers, and staff to identify and prioritize process improvement strategies that affect system wide clinic operations.




    • Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Business-related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
    • Must have previous healthcare experience, preferably five years of management experience with physician clinic operations.
    • Rural Health Clinic experience preferred.
    • Experience working with accreditation and surveying bodies preferred.
    • Previous experience with planning, organizing, delegating, and supervising preferred.
    • Must possess strong supervisory and leadership skills.
    • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to learn and navigate computer systems including the online training modules, the employee timesheet and the performance appraisal system. Job specific systems are also required.
    • Must have the ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision making, and problem solving.
    • Must have knowledge of personnel administration and patient relation principles.
    • Must have the ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies, and procedures.
    • $120,000 - $150,000
