We are seeking candidates for a NURSE PRACTITIONER CARDIOLOGY for a Heart and Vascular Center, a specialty clinic (outpatient setting) located in beautiful Western Colorado area.
The Heart and Vascular Center is growing, and we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced out-patient Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join their team. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with the Electrophysiologist, Cardiologists, Cardiothoracic Surgeon, and staff to provide high quality, patient centered care at the Heart and Vascular Center’s location. This clinic that is located on main hospital campus. Duties will include office visits, evaluation and management of pacemaker, defibrillator, and heart failure cardiac devices, and managing patients on anti-coagulation therapy in addition to below:
Compensation: $107,240 to $145,870/ annually.

Starting wage dependent upon experience, education, and skill set
Eligible for up to $10,000 Transitional/Relocation bonus for those that qualify (2-year commitment required).
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the management and treatment of Atrial Fibrillation patients in the outpatient and inpatient setting
Participate in all Outreach Clinics as a provider
Perform inpatient rounding
Appropriately admit and discharge patients
Accept patient transfers
Provide immediate preoperative care and postoperative care, including all orders, charting, and consents
Proactively identify complications, encompassing medical and surgical complications, and communicates findings
Assist with continuity of patient care by troubleshooting and assessing clinical issues in both the inpatient and outpatient setting
Participate in the PICC program
Perform all other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have two years of experience working as NP in related field.
Master's degree in Nursing; graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Unrestricted APN - Nurse Practitioner License in Colorado (DORA)
Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
