Our client, a 100 bed hospital located in Northern NC, located about 1 hr from Raleigh and about 45 mins from Durham, is seeking a Behavioral Health Manager to join their team.
The Nurse Manager plans, implements, and evaluates delivery of overall nursing care to patients. He/she provides managerial support in conjunction with the Program Director by providing supervision and evaluation of all nursing personnel on the unit. He/she contributes to the program, nursing and hospital through commitment to nursing goals, the supervision of clinical staff, and participation in the community relations program. The Nurse Manager reports administratively to the program director and clinical, to the Facility Director of Nursing.
Required: Bachelor’s degree in health related field within five years of accepting position
Preferred: Master’s level preparation
Required: Minimum of three years experience in health care management
Three to five years experience in direct patient care in behavioral health
Preferred: Experience in Behavioral Medicine Service Line
