    We are seeking candidates for an Assistant Director of Med/Surg Opportunity for a hospital located in central North Carolina.(low cost of living area).

    REPORTS TO CNO

    Salary range $71,000.00 $98,000.00

    SIGNING BONUS

    Negotiable

    Must-Haves

    Registered Nurse in North Carolina or Compact state is required

    Minimum of 3-5 years as charge nurse or supervisor in Med/Surg

    Prior experience working in an acute care setting

    AA in Nursing

    Nice-To-Haves

    BLS is required

    Master's degree is preferred

    Bachelor’s degree is preferred

    Experience in a small community hospital

    Position Summary:

    The Assistant Director of Nursing will organize, direct, and supervise the functions of the telemetry, Medical/Surgical, Medical/Telemetry, and ICU floors. This includes policy and procedures are followed; safe staffing levels are maintained; supplies and equipment are at sufficient levels; and efficient patient throughput is managed. This position will engage in ongoing quality and performance improvement and assures employees complete required annual competencies as well as maintain own professional growth and development in nursing leadership and required licensure.
