    REPORTS TO

    Chief Operating Officer

    Level II Trauma Center and recently expanded to 457 Beds Magnet Hospital

    $128,460.00

    SALARY MAXIMUM

    $187,304.00

     

     

    Must-Haves

    Bachelor of Nursing degree from an accredited school of professional nursing required; Masters Degree preferred

    Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing

    Professional Certification in clinical area or management within one year of hire preferred

    Five (5) years of progressive clinical experience

     

    Job Description

    Position responsible for providing leadership, direction and support for one or more patient care departments, ensuring the delivery of quality care to patients; and for planning, implementing, reviewing and controlling the budget, staffing, and robust process improvement.

     

    *24 Operating Rooms servicing all major service lines, 4 Xi Robots a Hybrid Room and a separate 4 Room Endoscopy Unit

     

    *Approximately 240 FTEs (including 7 Managers for Surgical Services, Sterile Processing & Endoscopy + 2 Assistants)

     

    *Over 2 Departments

     

    *Part of an established Level II Trauma Medical Center

     

    *Previous Director experience running a large OR with multiple service lines including CV, Neuro, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Oncology, etc.

     

    *Looking for someone with strong clinical & business sense, experience collaborating with physicians, organized, strategic, with a proven track record in developing leaders and delivering on key results.
