    Hospital located 45 minutes south of Salem and 50 minutes north of Eugene is seeking a Pharmacy Programs Manager to join their team.

    Salary Base $136,000 to $192,000 – based on exp.

    Job Summary: This position will be primarily remote but might require some onsite work at the hospital.

    Responsible for the overall management of all of the formularies administered by the Health Plan. The position is also responsible for the development and ongoing monitoring and oversight of pharmacy clinical programs, utilization review, quality programs such as Drug Utilization Reviews and Medicare STARS, cost and utilization initiatives and the Pharmacy Therapeutics Committee (P&T). Serve as an expert and ensure compliance regarding regulations and requirements of the State and Federal government, such as the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS).


    Job Requirements:

    • 3 years healthcare supervisory/leadership experience required.
    • Experience or training with data analysis, data trending, professional presentation and process improvements required.
    • 2 years clinical pharmacy experience involving patient interaction.
    • Medicare Part D, Medicaid and prior managed care pharmacy experience preferred.
    • Current unencumbered Oregon pharmacist license required.
    • Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills


    Other Job Highlights:

    • Manages the clinical and operational pharmacy programs including formulary administration, research, drug evaluation, treatment assessment, program/benefit design, delivery of pharmacy services and quality improvement and quality projects. Manages operations and functions of the Pharmacy Team to ensure appropriate staffing and compliance with contractual, State/Federal rules, regulations, guidelines and requirements.
    • Operates a portfolio of health plan products under several different legal structures designated as a regional Coordinated Care Organization (CCO) for Medicaid beneficiaries; offers Medicare Advantage, Commercial Large Group, and Commercial Large Group PPO and EPO plans; SHP is also the third-party administrator for the self-funded employee health benefit plan.
